[...] Phd & Depression. | thinking is the new black This has been a nightmare that is hopefully coming to an end now that I am letting go of it, but god it is painful, still. The worse thing for me in this whole process has been the isolation I’ve just been agonizing over endless visions and revisions. [...]

Dr Rich Tea

I'm sad you have had such a bad set of experiences. Don't let the bad relationships of the past scar you and turn you into a cynic. You can love again. I can recommend a 30 day getting over your heartbreak plan if you like? Or you could try CBT?

Oh maxi skirt! how I loved thee and how ill you treated me in return. As a teenage goth I lost count of the times my maxi skirts became lodged in the wheel/chain/brakes of my raleigh racer bike. The final straw came when my favourite dark green floral chiffon maxi (purchased at Maggies, the buttermarket, chichester) became irretrievably tangled in the workings of my racer and I had to push my bike the 3 miles home and have my mum free me and my skirt from the raleigh with the pinking sheers. I swore we where through but you lured me back. I enjoyed the way you caressed my legs and covered up the ladders in my tights till you tripped me up and I fell down the stairs in Marks and Spencers clutching my two year old. This time its over.

@ Maya, I think if you wear a vest or long sleeve top as in the FP picture it should be fitted and meet the skirt at the waist, also nothing billowy or bell shaped. Layering generally works. Cropped tops look nice if you've got a flat stomach, as i know you have :-) Avoid peasant tops unless you want to look like a milkmaid.
